When will Jet Blue be flying into Antigua. It goes into Barbados and other Caribbean islands. Wake up Antigua your nationals want to come home from JFK without the hassle of AA and or LIAT.

Notes From A Native Son Of The Rock. Prior to its Bankruptcy, this"mere voice in the wilderness" had advised that AA was divesting itself from the Eagle. The info fell on deaf ears. The Eagle is a Puerto Rican Airline and was incorporated into the AA Strategy & Structure. Just as Delta, United/ Continental and Air Canada do for their short haul flts.
Do you remember when the Good Hon Min signed the JFK/ANU deal? JF railed against it reminding all that AA had two hubs in NYC and was seeking to rationalize these. Additionally AA had entered into an Alliance with Jetblue whose main Hub was JFK. The SJU Eagle connection served AA when it did not have flts from NYC direct to many SIDS. With Rationalization & Restructuring due to Bankruptcy AA nimbly got ahead of the curve.
JF also reminded the ANU AA Staff that their tenure agreement would be shortlived and that they should be preparing themselves to be contracted out.
That LIAT, Major Shareholder Governments and the ANU Minister & GoAB have been asleep, not keeping their eye on the Compass and flying on blindly, while the Industry is rapidly evolving shows: "WI Transactional!"

Once again the world is trying to tell us that unless we wake up we will be set adrift with only LIAT flying in and out of Antigua. That is if there not on strike.

Time to stop playing politics with JetBlue and give them the go ahead to commence routes to Antigua... Maginley, pay attention and start to do some work...
