Globecomm Systems, a provider of satellite-based communications infrastructure solutions and services, announced it has secured two contracts to provide wireless managed services to service operators in Antigua and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
According to a release, the contracts will provide CDMA switching facilities for voice and data services to wireless operator subscribers and roaming partners in Antigua and Turks and Caicos.
"The company's hosted mobile core switch demonstrates how Globecomm can help wireless carriers seamlessly and profitably advance to the next line of mobile services," said Andy Silberstein, VP and General Manager, Services. "We are encouraged to provide these two Caribbean-based wireless operators with voice and data services utilizing our hosted switch platform."
