Antigua St John's - Regional golfers will be flying to Antigua to compete against Antiguan and Barbudan golfers at the INET International Pairs Caribbean Open, which will be held at the Cedar Valley Golf Course from September 7 &8, 2012.
Zorol Barthley of Golf Experience Caribbean, the organisers of the INET International Pairs Caribbean Open explains why the competition has been expanded:
“We have had a lot of success over the previous three years locally and we feel it is time to include golfers from across the region, giving them an opportunity to experience our hospitality as well as our course at Cedar Valley.
The franchise we have for International Pairs is for the entire Caribbean. This year, two teams, the top Antiguan team and the top Caribbean team will have an opportunity to participate in two tournaments – the first will be the Caribbean Golf Day in Brentwood, England, September 29 and then onto the International Pairs World Finals at Loch Lomond, Scotland from October 1 to 3.”
