Antigua St John's - Third on court in the girls' U18 competition was D'Jeri Raymond.
Raymond came up against Taylor Shukow (USA) losing the first set 2-6, down 0-5, and though losing, was able to save four games before Shukow was able to close out set two 6-4.
The Antiguan/Bahamian duos were both able to cripple their opponents in their round one competition. Both Shakir Elvin and Jody Maginley teamed up with the Bahamian brothers Andre and Christian Cargill, respectively.

Elvin, teaming up with Andre Cargill (BAH), defeated David Santa Maria(PUR)/Arthur Stephani(BRA) 6-1, 6-1.
Maginley, teaming up with Christian Cargill (BAH), defeated Kevin Kovacs (GER)/Francis Williams (USA) #8 seed 6-1, 6-4.
As more boys' and girls' doubles continue, the tennis association again wished the team members the very best.
