The Leeward/Virgin Island District Church of the Nazarene will be holding its thirty seventh (37) District Assembly and Conventions from March 25- 28, 2010. On March 25, 2010 delegates will arrived from St. Kitts, Dominica and St. Croix to join the delegates here in Antigua.
The Nazarene Mission International (NMI) will be the first activity to take place, on Thursday march 25, at 6:00 p.m. at the St. Johnston’s Church of the Nazarene. On Friday March 26, there will be various committee meetings starting at 9:00 a.m and these will be followed by the Sunday School Convention at 2:00 p.m. and the Nazarene Youth International (NYI) at 6:30pm.at the Beacon Light Church in Villa.
The high point will be the Business Session on March 27, where the General Superintendent in Jurisdiction Dr. Johnny K. Warrick along with the Regional Director Dr. John Smee will preside.
These men will be accompanied by their wives. To climax these activities there will be a joint service at the Multipurpose Centre on March 28 at 10:00am, where a few of our Pastors will be ordained. At 3:00 p.m there will be a celebration service for Dr. & Mrs. John Smee.
