Undecided - 2012 US Presidential Election

UndecidedSigh. The 2012 US Presidential Election is approaching and I am steadfastly undecided. In 2008 I voted for Senator Barack Obama for president of the United States. Now, I do not know whether I should vote to re-elect Barack Obama for President or not vote at all.

Mitt Romney is clearly a droid built by Corporate America. Ron Paul or Rick Santorum would have made for a better Republican Presidential Nominee to run against President Obama.

During the 2008 presidential campaign, insignificant numbers of American voters were saying, “I don’t trust Barack Obama.” Right, because Barack Obama is the black sheep of all politicians whom you love and trust so dearly. During the first 100 days of Barack Obama’s presidency, Republicans and Conservatives were vibrantly saying, “Barack Obama is destroying the fabric of America.”

Political scientists and economists are not able to tell whether a president’s policy is truly effective until decades after their presidency. Did Ms. Cleo die and in her will give away her crystal balls? The guy hadn’t been in office for two full years. Cut the guy some slack.

Let me tell you what your problem is America. Throughout the centuries you cast black men as inferior, soulless beings with elongated penises.

Now you feel as if God is playing a cruel joke on you having one of these soulless creatures with an elongated penis sitting on your throne. Your deepest fear is not that President Obama will destroy America’s economy. Your deepest fear is that you will come to see Barack Obama as a human being, as your equal, the longer he sits in the White House. We black men are more than just deep bed lovers or to be made objects of penis jokes.

Need I remind you America when God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” The end result thereof was a black man based on scientific evidence and anthropological research?

Need I remind you America it was from a black empire - Kemet, that the Greeks got their “sophisticated civilization” which is cause and effect to our world view here in the West today? Need I remind you America it was a black man who helped survey the boundaries for Washington D.C. during slavery when it was illegal for blacks to read and or write?

True discontentment with President Barack Obama comes from voters who voted for him in the 2008 presidential elections. Voters who voted for then Senator Barack Obama for President feel he has not been forceful enough with policies that he himself proposed. President Obama has compromised too much of his agenda with Republicans which is ironic, because then Senator Obama told the American people in 2008 that voting for Senator John McCain would be voting for another four years of President Bush.

In the 2008 presidential debates with Senator John McCain, Senator Obama told the American people he was going to:

In phases, bring the war in Iraq to a close while sending more troops into Afghanistan;

(verbatim) “if the United States has Al Qaeda, Bin Laden, other top-level lieutenants in our sights and Pakistan is unable or unwilling to act then we should take them out.”

Develop a ten-year plan to get America off foreign oil and on to alternate energy such as solar, wind, bio-diesel, geothermal, etc.

Pass a healthcare bill that allows for everyone to receive coverage;

Provide tax cuts for 95% of working class Americans; “if you make less than $250,000 a year you will not see your tax increase a single cent;”

Rebuild infrastructure - roads, underground lines, improve Wi-Fi capability in the city, etc.

Go through line by line in the federal budget and eliminate programs that do not work and build on those that do;

Provide oversight with the $700 billion dollars of taxpayers money that was given to banks as bailout money and see to it taxpayers receive all of that money back with interest.

According to factcheck.org, “Obama is right about his (tax) plan’s effect on working families” in that 95 per cent of working class families will receive a tax cut. On March 21st, 2010, Congress by a 219-212 vote passed the healthcare bill spoken of by President Obama. On May 1st, 2011 President Barack Obama did what he said he was going to do in Pakistan with regards to Bin Laden; he went in and got the son of a bitch.

In addition, the National Security Network stated, “A renewed focus on intelligence gathering has resulted in the decapitation of al Qaeda through capture-and-kill programs. Osama bin Laden and 20 of the top 30 most prominent members of al Qaeda have been eliminated in the past year and a half alone.” On December 18th 2011 the last of US troops crossed the southern Iraqi desert overnight into Kuwait according to bbc.co.uk.

Remember this bad joke President Obama gave in his 2012 State of the Union address, “I’ve ordered every federal agency to eliminate rules that don’t make sense. We’ve already announced over 500 reforms, and just a fraction of them will save businesses and citizens more than $10 billion over the next five years.

(Here it comes) We got rid of one rule from 40 years ago that could have forced some dairy farmers to spend $10,000 a year proving that they could contain a spill because milk was somehow classified as an oil. With a rule like that, I guess it was worth crying over spilt milk.” Consider that bad joke a promise kept when President Obama said he was going to go through the federal budget line by line and eliminate programs that do not work.

There were two financial bailout packages. According to ProPublica, an independent non-profit newsroom, the first was US $414 billion given to banks and other financial institutions. Of the US $414 billion that was loaned out to banks and other financial institutions, US $306 billion has been returned.

The second financial bailout package was given to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac which accounted for US $187 billion. Of the US $187 billion dollars that was given to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the US Treasury has received US$41 billion dollars in dividends. So the US $700 billion bailout was not really US $700 billion but US $603 billion.

In summary, of the US $603 billion that was given in bailout money, US $347 billion has already been returned more than half the amount and President Obama has only been in office a little under four years. President Obama’s 10-year plan to get America off foreign oil has already been initiated. A closed road lane or closed road exit can become a nuisance travelling to and from work every day but it is another promise kept by President Obama to rebuild America’s infrastructure.

Gee. President Obama has done everything he said he was going to do. Somehow, the innate anger Republicans feel toward President Obama got injected into my heart and my heart, doing what it is supposed to do, circulated that rage throughout my body. Well, it looks like I am going to vote after all. President Obama is worthy of a second term.

I am, however, disappointed with him in one thing and have a personal grievance against him in another the healthcare bill: Article I Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution states that: The Congress shall have Power to…provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States.

In the heat of the healthcare debate pre-March 21st, 2010, there were five different healthcare bills in Congress that were drafted. Two of the five healthcare bills drafted had a public option which meant that the government by right was going to foot the bill. The Constitution states ‘Congress shall provide’ not the American people should be ‘mandated’ to buy health insurance as is the case in the healthcare bill that was passed.

Talk about ‘the long waiting period’ and the poor quality healthcare citizens receive in Cuba, Canada and the United Kingdom as to why we here in the United States should not have universal healthcare is debauchery. Let it be known: universal healthcare is not socialism but a Constitutional right of the American people. As a constitutional lawyer, President Obama should have fought fervently for it.

Finally, refer to Prime Minister Muammar Gaddafi of Libya. President Obama went on a world tour encouraging other nations to give up their nuclear arms so that the world can be safer. Prime Minister Gaddafi heard President Obama’s plea and gave up his country’s nuclear stockpile.

In less than eight months, the American media labeled Prime Minister Gaddafi a ‘lunatic’ and President Obama ordered missile strikes in Libya, even bombing Prime Minister Gaddafi’s home. Rhetoric from the American media that Prime Minister Gaddafi had gone senile and ordered the army to turn the gun on the Libyan people was simply a lie. How does a leader of a country go from wanting to make the world safer by sacrificing a piece of his country’s defense system to being a ‘lunatic’ in less than eight months?

If you ask me, it was a set-up by the Obama Administration.

It is well-known that Prime Minister Gaddafi was going to introduce a new currency called the ‘Gold Dinar’ and intended on creating “a single African state with Arab and African population numbering 200 million people,” according to Kavkaz Center. This would have brought about black economic empowerment; this is what Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and other great black leaders have died for in the past.

I understand that the introduction of the Gold Dinar was a threat to the United States and its dollar. I want my readers, particularly my black brothers and sisters, to know and to be aware of the correlation between America and why it did what it did to Prime Minister Gaddafi in Libya and America and what it has done and is doing to African-Americans living in the West and understand that the unification of the black community is considered a threat to the United States of America.

You, Negro, are a threat to the United States of America.

Ha! Sometimes I wish I got to live the fascinating, complex life commentators like to invent.

To paraphrase Sigmund Freud: Sometimes a troll is just a troll.

Oversee, for someone who shows the kind of hatred Pellucid does, they are obviously in pain. Truly must be difficult to be around him. Perhaps the best option is to pray for him and suggest he get help

Something tells me this piece of flotsam/jetsam is in reality a mental ** so in a strange way I have some sympathy for him. Do you think he might have escaped from some institution where he might have been experimented upon to discover whether he possesses anything approaching intelligent life? I ask only out of curiosity but then here exists a tormented soul. Pellucid, back to Hades where you belong, begone with you!!

For anyone who is objective and sincerely interested in the facts, rather than the spin of their favorite pundit no matter which party they favor, regarding where the US economy was when Obama took office and what has happened since then, there is an enlightening analysis that appeared this week called "Obama's Economy: A snapshot" that lays it all out in 13 easy to read charts of key indicators, all telling it like it is... good, bad, or otherwise. Take a look and decide for yourself. Again, its for the objective minded voter no matter your affiliation.

You can huff and puff but you can't blow this house down. You now have lots of visiting time to chat with your Sir in a Texas condiminium most suited to the pair of you. Gnash your teeth and cover youself in sackloth and ashes, you glutton. Greed really does warp a glutton's mind (yours not functioning properly) that's obvious. The more you pour out your bile against Antigua and Barbuda is all the more I have a darned good laugh at your earned predicament. I wonder if a certain individual had it right all along?

Of course, Sir Allen: Antiguan citizen, resident and Knight, wiped out wealth seven times the GDP of an insignificant, about to be former "country".

I guess Antigua's greatest asset is it's insignificance. Apparently there is some advantage to being worth less than the bombs it would take to blow you away!
