Antigua St John's - The police are investigating another shooting, this time that of a 20 year old from Cooks Extension. He was reportedly shot in the left leg at about 2:30 am on June 27 after two men approached him on his front step.
One of the men was described as slim, and dark in complexion, about 5’9”. He was wearing an orange shirt and black shorts, and had a small black revolver in his hand. No description was available for the other assailant.
A break-in was reported at a home in Paynters on June 27 at about 3 am, when someone stole two gold chains and a gold ring, along with an undisclosed sum and a bunch of keys. The intruder fled after the resident woke up.
Five other reports of break-ins were reported as follows:
A quantity of plywood, form board, and 2x2 lumbers was taken from a construction site in Cades Bay sometime between February 14 and June 26.
A store room on Dickenson Bay Street was broken into sometime between June 25 and June 27. The intruder made off with 10 cases of Red Bull.

Meanwhile, a home in Gambles Terrace was broken into sometime between midnight on June 24 and 10:30 am on June 25. The items stolen were a silver chain and locket, a gold male wedding band, a gold ring and a gold necklace with pendant. The value of the items was unknown.
Ewen Cameron of Potters, who pleaded guilty to serious indecency on May 18 before Justice Richard Floyd, was sentenced on June 27 to three years’ imprisonment.
