Antigua St. John's - Following media reports that Commissioner of Police Vere Browne indicated that he would meet with the three parties engaged in the Triangular Bedroom Brawl last weekend. Only two of the parties were met.
Caribarena has been reliably informed that two of the parties, female police officer Karen Silcott and Constable Charles met with the Commissioner and a battery of senior officers yesterday at the Police headquarters.
It was revealed that the 2 serving members offered explanations of the incident which occurred at the Nut grove home of Silcott where her husband Anderson Elvin was allegedly shot and wounded by officer Charles with his service firearm in the privacy of her bedroom.
Having provided explanations both were then reportedly advised of further investigations into the incident.
Some officers were of the view that either disciplinary or criminal action might be taken against the shooter.

Southern Beauty - I figured it best to be proactive
Though it may seem "...Stranger Than Fiction," let sanity prevail. Don't be too hard on the "...Top Cop." It is obvious that you " ...guys/gals" know something about procedures. If only for academic interest: Section 4 of the Disciplinary Regulations [Police Act, Chapter 330- "...Investigati on of Charges" states (1) "...When a report, allegation or complaint is received by the Commissioner of Police from which it APPEARS that a member of the Force may have committed an offence, the matter 'SHALL' be referred to an ' ...INVESTIGATIN G OFFICER' who SHALL caused it to be investigated." (2) ...The Investigating Officer SHALL be such member of the Force, of or above the rank of Sergeant as may be 'DESIGNATED' by the Commissioner of Police for the purpose." It was clear that it was never intended for "...Commissione r Skyewill and the other well thinking Commissioners" on the subject to be part of the "...investigati ve process." Such intervention, even by " ...public perception" could very well "...compromise the investigation." Skyewill cannot be "...Investigato r, Judge, Jury and Punisher." 42 Read more:
