Attorney Survives Vehicular Accident

Vehicular AccidentAntigua St John's - Prominent attorney Hugh Marshall Jr. has survived a vehicular smashup with a police vehicle on Thursday afternoon just outside Police headquarters on American Road.

The incident occurred around 4pm and police have reported no serious injuries.

As of 6pm however, Marshall and other occupants of the vehicle were still seeking precautionary medical attention.

“The officer was taken to the hospital. I don't have (many) details at this time,” said police spokesman Sr. Sgt. William Holder.

Marshall is renowned for leading the legal team of the Stanford Development Company, following the collapse of former Texan Billionaire R. Allen Stanford empire.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

Reports suggest that Marshall was traveling from South to North on American Road, and that a collision occurred when a police vehicle traveling from North to South attempted to enter the Police HQ Compound.

thank god that Mr. Marshall is alive and well my prayer is that he finds his true purpose in god and seek the reason why god favored him so , many were not so lucky . i thank god it was not worse and we didn't have to mourn a young lawyers life.... regardless of his short comings that s between him and god and it is quite clear that they were that bad because god favored him..... just be happy for a human life....

Re: Lady Justice

#16 JC » 2012-07-09 09:04

Lady Justice, firstly, don't think about karma because none of us are perfect, and none of us can ever judge you. What you need to do right now is go to a quiet place, get down on your knees, quiet your heart and mind, and think about our omnipotent creator. Sincerely confess your sins to Him, and ask Him to forgive you. Pour your heart and soul out to Him and tell Him how you feel and what you are afraid of. Even if you don't have the words to say, the Bible says in Romans 8:26 that the the Spirit searches our hearts and intercedes for us with moans that words cannot express.

Psalm 46 says that "God is our refuge and strength. An ever present help in time of trouble". Psalm 55 says to "Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you". So take heart my sister, and be strong. God can do it and He will in Jesus' Name. Sometimes, God allows trials in our lives in order to draw us closer to Him and to get our attention in order to cause us to believe in Him.

Make sure that when things work out for you, you testify about it online as well, so that others may be encouraged by it. I am praying for you.

Something to think about

#14 Lady Justice » 2012-07-07 10:36

Most of you people reading this probably have a roof over your head and something to eat.I however probably from the 29th of this month will not have a roof over my head.Audrey Taylor I am glad you understand because some people may say I am rambling on and on so perhaps I am crazy. But truth be told I am not.I am just a thirty eight year old woman who is overwhelmed by life. Each corner I turn I do not see something good.I am about to find somewhere to house my kids and I will live out of my car.I mean it.Yes,in these times that is when you will know who is your friend.I was born and raised in Antigua and I do know how to survive.I have spent my savings on a surgery I needed to have to save my life, house rent and food.I put ten dollars gas in my car when I can and when I cant I walk.I thought of selling it but it can be a roof over my head and it gets me places.Right now the economical refugees have taken over and this government should go to a place worse than hell.I dont have the karma thing going on cause I have harmed no one in any way that I know of.I am a victim of circumstance.

If bad thing happened to evil peole (kharma) then many of us would have been long dead, ruined or very sick but evil comes to the good and the bad , we should never rejoice over anyone's misfortune it is better to say there but for the grace of God go I. Dont try to play warri with God you will lose big time.

@ Lady Justice, I have been exactly hereyou are, it is horrible but my faith though at times weak has kept me going, become a friend of God and he will give you the strength to endure your hardship and send relief through people you know and even stranger. I am also unemployed for 2 years now , our government has failed us in so many ways, there is no unemoloyment benefits or early retirement plans, it looks like employers dont want anyone over 40 worse if you are a woman.

Karma?

#12 Daughter of Klaas » 2012-07-06 20:16

As I have said before, My beloved country is headed for serious disasters - just listen to the filth that spews from the lips of people who now occupy my geographical space. They could never be native sons or daughters who, despite political, racial, social differences empathize with others genuinely whenever the need arises. Get well soon, Hugh!

Help me figure it out

Simple solution for Guest:
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. If you're standing, or sitting for that matter, with your frontal body facing the sunrise, then north would be on your left, west would be at your back and south would be on your right. Alternatively, if your frontal body is facing the sunset, standing or sitting, north would be on your right, your back would be towards the east and south would be on you left. Hope this makes it easier for you.

Hey you people in Antigua dirtyminded, bad minded and wicked. It could have been your brother that was in the accident. It could have been one of my brothers.Realit y- let me tell you something.....I dont know what God you serve but it sure is not the one who made me.
Karma...we all have to be careful with karma.Do you realize what is happening in Antigua?
People cant get work, families are hungry, bills cant be paid.Right now I am sure some people are thinking about committing suicide. And you know,I cant blame them cause I know what it feels like to be at the end of the rope.I have been out of a job for over a year and I cant even feed my kids nor pay my bills....I have even thought of just taking my life to -up to earlier today.
So...all the best to the persons in the accident and lets look out for each other.Even look out for me cause I need a job fast and I have been looking everywhere.Real ity...with me unable to find work is that karma too?

Marshall is RAS's lawyers but he is no different from any other lawyer who defends child molesters etc.....once the client can pay then no worries so he shouldn't be attacked for that. Doctors who are supposed to keep patients alive are gouging their pockets for unnecessary tests, procedures etc that the doctors do themselves.

Heck, even last week our recently honoured radio host was singing on his radio station for his supper (sorry...buildi ng)

THE CARDINAL POINTS

#7 RAWLSTON POMPEY » 2012-07-06 09:26

If one is familiar with the "...CARDINAL POINTS," in any part of the globe he travels "...East, West, NORTH and SOUTH" remain the same.

Like the Chinese Loans Representative on the WPP, even when there may be "..FLUCTUATIONS ," Chinese Loans "...NEVER CHANGE." Similarly, with the Cardinal Points."

Reality , don't you have work to do? Go fly a kite, build a sand castle.
How many tax evaded dollars did you loose? Maybe Karma started with that.
