A French bank is being investigated over whether it ignored suspicious transactions involving R Allen Stanford. Online news sources said the concern stems from a Swiss bank account held by a Stanford company at SG Private Banking (Suisse) SA, a subsidiary of Société Générale.
The subsidiary, it is being alleged, was funded by investors who were bilked in the alleged Ponzi scheme Stanford is awaiting trial for.
It is further suspected that this money was funnelled into Stanford's private accounts and used to bribe his Antiguan auditor.
A planned investigation will examine whether Société Générale followed due dillegence procedures and asked appropriate questions in the situation.

RE: French Bank's Relationship With Stanford Questioned
Apparently, running sham investment schemes disguised as regulated, audited banks is legal based on Antigua's behavior over the last two and a half years.
Curious

Of course the GOAB could release it's FSRC report, or have televised hearings likethe US did for their Madoff investigation if they would like to show their innocence.

Presumption of innocence is fine, but the subsequent behavior of the GOAB (both parties) also speaks volumes.

This and the suppression of Antigua's report into the matter and the legal stalling of the extradition of Leroy King creates a fishy smell indeed!

It's a sure bet there's going to be more implications other than an obscure French bank before the Stanford train wreck is fully explained.

A xxn-artist to the end
The man is an alleged thief and a xxn-artist, he has tried every trick in the book to try and avoid going before a jury, xxn-artists never change their ways and Stanford proves that. If he is well enough to think up all these excuses then he's well enough to stand trial. He makes me sick
