Bolivian Officials Pays Official Visit Antigua St John's - Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Bolivia Juan Carlos Aluralde recently paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer as part of a sub-regional tour of countries to obtain support for a draft deceleration to be presented to Organization of American States (OAS) General Assembly.

The Bolivarian foreign minister was seeking support for a draft declaration on “Food Security with Sovereignty in the Americas,” which seeks to highlight food and nutritional security to be promoted in harmony with nature.

Prime Minister Spencer, in response, said Antigua & Barbuda will examine the draft declaration through its permanent representative to the OAS in Washington.

The Organisation of American States General Assembly will be held in Cochabamba, Bolivia from June 3 to 5.
