Having just returned from two weeks on your beautiful island, a few things touched me. Firstly the self serving government which the good people have for represention. With the used power plant, selling out of the fisheries (lobster and otherwise), poor building standards, litter and trash abound in tourist areas etc. Second, now you have a minister who would be considered a bully in a kindergarden class. Classy Minister! Question for the minister, they have dairy cows for milk and beef but no industry to manufacture **er and cheese to provide employment for your people, perhaps if you focused your attention on what you were duly elected to do your popularity would rise and you would command some respect from the people who gave you the privilege of governace on a beautiful peice of paradise. Is the minister ready to graduate to high school? Time will tell, and yes Minister the world is watching!

I often believe that just like how other professions require holders of positions of leadership to be qualified and certified, that politicians ought to qualify and certify themselves with a degree in political science, business or some other management discipline. It is not a guarantee that such an individual will end up being a better politician but at least we can start out with higher expectations based on the individual's qualification and certification as opposed to starting at zero in the case of Baptise and a few others.
