HR Group Elects Executive

HR Group Elects ExecutiveAntigua St John's - The Human Resource Professionals of Antigua and Barbuda (HRPAB) has announced the election of its 2012 – 2013 executive. The members are:

President: Dr Gale Archibald, Organisational Development Consultant, specialising in human resource management; 

1st Vice President: Jeanette Charles, Owner/Principal Consultant, Shindana Consulting; 

2nd Vice President: Barbara Coates, Consultant, BEVS Consulting, specialising in Employee Training;

Treasurer:  Paulette Charles, HR Manager at Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority;

Secretary: Josina J France, Invigilator at Medical Benefits Scheme.

In her acceptance speech, the president described the association as “...an organisation on the move”. She urged the members “to work to demonstrate and convince co-workers, clients and associates, that we are an essential partner in the economic and social development of Antigua and Barbuda.



"Everything that we do must illustrate this link ... In so doing we will ensure that we are bringing to our respective workplaces, to Antigua and Barbuda, the best practices for human resource management to the benefit of the employer and to the benefit of the employee."

The HRPAB is an association of human resources professionals practicing in Antigua and Barbuda. The goal of the HRPAB is to promote and advocate human resources as our country’s most valuable development asset.

This overarching goal is realised by five sub-themes: professionalism, best practices, networking, research, and national development.

Membership is open in three categories: non-professional, professional, and honorary.

The HRPAB was incorporated in 2010.
