Cheque-hand-over Antigua st John's - Over the past week, the Lions Club of Antigua assisted a mother and child to offset the cost of an echocardiogram procedure, and continued its weekly Hot Meals Delivery Program, along with celebrating a birthday with one of its meals recipients.

The Club handed over a cheque to assist baby Aaliyah Phillips with an echocardiogram at Dr Belizaire's office.

Members also celebrated a birthday with Mr Grigg - a shut-in who is among the recipients of its Hot Meals Program. The Lions offer hot meals every Wednesday in the St John's area.

The “birthday boy” was also given a Lions T-shirt.
