Antigua St John's - A local casting call will be held for the Elite Model Look Caribbean 2011 on Monday. For the first time, young women ages 14 to 22 will have the chance to vie for this opportunity. Prospective models were encouraged to come out from 4-7 pm at the Multipurpose Center to be showcased in the first leg of the competition.
Elite Model Management represents more than 2,000 models, with over 50 agencies across five continents. The agency reinforces its management with an ethical code, while encouraging models to follow a rigorously healthy lifestyle.
Women of a slender build, who are at least 5'8" were encouraged to compete at casting. Those attending are required to wear jeans or shorts with a fitted top, with little to no make-up; lip gloss and mascara are acceptable. They must also bring a pair of heels.
From Monday’s initial casting, two girls will represent Antigua at the regional final on November 12 at the Hyatt Regency in Trinidad, where they will compete against 20 other girls selected from eight other Caribbean territories - Barbados, Suriname, St Lucia, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, St Vincent, and Trinidad & Tobago.
