Donation Brings Relief to Breast Feeding Moms

Townhouse donationAntigua St John's - Townhouse Mega Store recently donated a recliner to the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit, with the comfort of breast-feeding moms in mind.

According to Salma Crump, MSJMC's marketing and communications manager, “Townhouse Mega Store has shown their commitment to the hospital from the get-go.

That’s why we immediately thought of them when it came to this particular need. The hospital recognises that breast feeding is the most natural way to feed and nurture a baby so this is something we fully support and encourage.”

Using the recliner as a nursing chair will provide the much-needed comfort that nursing moms need (prevent back pain), and help keep the babies sleepy and calm while breastfeeding.

For more information on how you can make a donation to the hospital, call (268) 484-2700 ext 2711 or ext 2251.
