Friends of MSJMC Antigua St John's - The Friends of Mount Saint John Medical Centre Inc held its election on February 23, and the executive from 2011 was re-elected to serve for the year 2012.

They are: President Dwayna Derrick, Vice President Giselle Maginley, Treasurer Veronica Gomes, Assistant Treasurer Frances Ann Mellanson, Secretary Evon Challenger, Assistant Secretary Yvonne Martin, and PRO Sally Davis-Meyer.

Friends of MSJMC held two major fundraising functions in 2011. In May, there will be a cocktail and concert featuring Paul Keens Douglas, and in December a cocktail and auction. Both functions were a great success.

From those fundraisers, the following were donated to the Mount Saint John Medical Centre:

- A dialysis machine, along with the assistance of Renal Society and Mill Reef Club.

- Purchase of an EKG machine, which will be presented to the hospital shortly.

- Four ventilation iron doors were constructed for the fourth floor of MSJMC with the assistance of the staff at ABICE who volunteered their labour.

- Presently on order is a vascular ultra sound machine Friends of Mount Saint John Medical Centre Inc would like to thank their many patrons, supporters, and businesses who have supported the organisation.
