Local Short Film to Premiere on ABS

When No one Is LookingAntigua St John's - ABS TV is about to showcase its first short film, "When No one Is Looking," The production addresses HIV/AIDS issues, discrimination, and how both affect relationships.

Production Manager R Anderson Edghill said, " I hope everyone understands the message in this production. Each and every one of us has a responsibility to get tested."

The film features the talent of Antiguan playwright Owen Jackson and newcomers to the screen Zarah Airall, Elijah James, and Walter Armstrong.

It centers around three characters; a married man about to have a baby with his wife, whose past suddenly comes back to haunt him; a young man who experiences rejection from his father; and a child who is abused by a family member.


"When No One Is Looking" was written by Airall.

The project was funded by the Caribbean Broadcast Media Partnership on HIV/AIDS. It premieres on Monday January 2, 2012 at 9 pm on ABS Television.
