Antigua St John's - Heavy showers of rain over the long holiday weekend caused serious flooding at the Central Kitchen of the National School Meals Service.
After checking the facilities carefully, Management determined that it would be in the best interest of the health and safety of the Centre staff and patrons of the programme to ensure that the facility is inspected and sanitized prior to any preparation or distribution of meals from the facility.
According to Mr. Samuel Spencer, who is presently serving as CEO, National School Meals Service, the usual schedule of meal preparation and delivery will resume tomorrow as usual.
