Antigua St John's - LIAT's ground staff got back to work on Thursday after a two-day stoppage. The airline issued a release where Corporate Communications Manager Desmond Brown said the dispute with the Antigua and Barbuda Workers Union, which represents the workers, has been referred to the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Commissioner.
A meeting is scheduled between the parties on Friday July 1.
The flight schedule was not affected by the work stoppage, the release said.
On another issue, the late payment of salaries for June, LIAT confirmed
that the processing of salaries for all employee groups had now been done completed.
