Antigua St John's - The chairman of the LIAT board of directors, Dr Jean Holder, has dismissed media rumours that the airline has appointed a new CEO. This followed the announcement by acting CEO Brian Challenger that he would resign at the end of June.
“Absolutely no one has been interviewed, appointed, or promised the job of CEO at LIAT,” the chairman said. He added that "it is the board of directors’ intention, beginning immediately, to conduct the search for an appropriate candidate to serve as LIAT’s CEO at this critical juncture in the airline’s development.
